The company HYZA was founded on 1. July 2007 as a successor of three separate plants: MET (former Topoľčiansky hydinársky podnik), HYZA a.s. Žilina and HYDINA s.s., whose owner was the AGROFERT Group. The main aim of the merger was to centralize strategic decisions and powers to one seat, which is nowadays placed in Topoľčany, reducing fixed costs and the continued production of high quality products. The company HYZA currently employs more than 1000 employees.
